Treat this route as part of exploring the north, rather than a quick stop between distant destinations. Pick one main view and spend time with it. From Budva, allow enough time for the drive or combine the visit with an overnight stay around Žabljak.
What to see
Đurđevića Bridge crosses the Tara River canyon and offers a view of the river valley from above. A stop at the bridge and an organised rafting trip are different plans: rafting requires a separate arrangement and suitable conditions.
Getting there by car
If you are staying in Žabljak, route directly to the bridge. Do not use the canyon's name as your only destination: it covers a large area. For photos, choose a permitted stopping place and keep the car off the carriageway.
